ডাঃ এম জেড রায়হানী ১৯৯০ সালে এমবিবিএস, ২০০৪ সালে ডিও এবং ২০০৭ সালে এফসিপিএস পাস করেন। ডাঃ রায়হানী দেশে ও বিদেশে বিভিন্ন চক্ষু হাসপাতালে চাকরি করেন এবং ২৩ বছরের অধিক সময় চক্ষু রোগিদের চিকিৎসাসেবা দিয়ে যাচ্ছেন।

তিনি ছোট বড় সবার দৃষ্টি সমস্যা, মাথাব্যথা, ছানি, নেত্রনালিসহ অন্যান্য চক্ষু রোগের সুচিকিৎসা দিয়ে থাকেন। ডাঃ রায়হানী বাংলাদেশ আই হসপিটাল মিরপুর শাখায় রোগি দেখেন ও ফ্যাকো সাজারিসহ চোখের বিভিন্ন অপারেশন করে থাকেন।
